Title: “How to Make Harmonious Color Choices”

Description: Colleen will demonstrate how to use triads of color within a color shape to enliven and harmonize overall color in a painting. Students will practice using value and color studies to begin paintings and solve problems BEFORE starting a painting.

Description: Colleen will be teaching how to use value and color studies to make successful paintings. These studies help the student solve problems in value relationships and color harmony before committing to a larger format. This is so helpful!!! We will work on location in beautiful Cache Valley, and also work from Colleen’s studio in Smithfield. (2 hours north of Salt Lake City by car)
